When scandal rocks her animation studio, producer Mona juggles the needs of her animators and the demands of her boys’-club-turned-boy-band bosses, all the while confronting her own limiting beliefs about art, talent, and the nature of genius. With heartfelt characters, an original score of Broadway-style bangers, and a deep love for the artists who toil in the cartoon trenches, Saturdays at 10am is sure to be your new favorite musical!

Reviews

"A genuine, heartwarming, and enjoyable musical that surpasses any expectation of what a Fringe musical would look like! This is a top tier production through the performances which were all filled with great energy, a plot that had good structure, and hilarious, laugh out loud moments." - Stage Takes

"The show was incredible. I was totally blown away at how great it was. The songs were catchy and well written, the plot was different and relatable, the actors were all so good, and the show was very funny while also including some decent dramatic highlights."

"I thought the message of the story was really moving. The commentary on modern art industry culture is a harsh lens into the darkest flaws of American society at large. The show tackles rampant corruption, grind culture, sexism, addiction, power dynamics in the workplace, and more – yet it reminds us that in the end, we are all just human. I thought it was particularly well done that these messages were delivered through such a broad assortment of plot devices, as well. The story felt very well-rounded. Saturdays at 10am was a dynamic show. It had deceptively upbeat musical numbers with a moving story and powerful message. Ambition, corruption, betrayal, romance, power dynamics: it has it all, and is well worth the watch. It will have you laughing, clapping, and on the verge of tears."

"So fun. A really funny and spectacular story told by super talented artists. Great voices, great staging, great job."

"A high-energy, tightly-produced musical that endeavors to celebrate the creative spirit amidst turmoil."

"Saturdays at 10am is an ambitious, new musical that features a fun cast of performers. This show features an abundant supply of songs that highlight the talent of multiple cast members. As for the messaging, the heart of it speaks to attaining work/life balance and difficulties achieving success in today’s workforce.

Some big questions are at the crux of the musical: Why is bad behavior rewarded (or overlooked) in work settings? And, what happens when the promise of capitalism fails? If you work hard, shouldn’t you be rewarded? Many Millenials and Gen Z audiences will feel as though this show is speaking directly to them."
