Who am I anyway?

A true gen-z internet native, I've been running social media accounts since I could walk* (* got an iPod Touch in 6th grade). From showcasing my art to teaching myself HTML at 13 to make my Tumblr blog perfect, I've always used the internet to grow my skills and promote my passions.

I started marketing in high school as the Publicity Editor in Chief for a theatre non-profit. I loved using my creative eye to grow communities and tell stories. I've been working in marketing ever since. (Coming up on NINE years now!)

I continued to combine my passion for marketing and theatre in college. I worked as the social media manager for multiple theatre and film organizations. These experiences got me my Marketing Internship at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, a world-class performing arts venue with a social following of over 50k. I was frequently praised for my go-getter attitude and took every opportunity to develop my wheelhouse. My time at Segerstrom taught me the importance of being proactive, organized, and detail-oriented when representing a company's brand. I learned the ins and outs of the non-profit arts sector and gained respect for how many people it takes to create, promote, and show art to large audiences.

After graduation, I started working at a full-service ad agency, DB&M Media. As Social Media Manager, I created brand identities, thumb-stopping content, and paid advertising campaigns from the ground up. I continued to grow my skill set and received my Meta Digital Marketing Associate and Creative Strategy Professional certifications.

I currently work as the Marketing and Administrative Assistant at Conundrum Theatre Company. We're a small but mighty community that strives to create opportunities for and develop the potential of working professionals who are passionate about participating in high-quality, professional shows. It's been an honor to help assist this burgeoning company grow. In less than a year, I've gotten to translate a 200+ page proposal into an engaging pitch deck and website for Burbank City Council, increased reach by 124% and follower count by 2000% from the last year, and continue to develop our marketing strategy as a quickly-evolving non-profit theatre company. Conundrum is a testament to the power of live theatre in an economy that does not support it. Facilitating the company's growth alongside other passionate artists has been incredible.

I graduated from Chapman University in May 2022 with a double major in Communication Studies and Theatre Studies. While there, I directed an award-winning play, co-wrote and acted in an all-Asian student show, and worked on countless projects as an actor, director, and costume designer/wardrobe supervisor/costume shop assistant.

I am specifically interested in marketing new ideas with the power to shape the world for the better. My business interests include Arts Administration, Advocacy, Education, and Sustainable Fashion/Beauty Companies. I am currently seeking work in Administration, Social Media Management, Marketing, Internal or External Communication, Development, Publicity, and Event Management. I'm a multi-hyphenate who loves to add more hyphens, what can I say!

When I'm not working, you can find me acting, directing, or obsessing over the newest piece of media I've decided to make my personality. Given the chance, I will talk your ear off about trend cycles, obscure animal facts, and everything in between. Sound appealing?

Shoot me an email, DM, or carrier pigeon!
